Music has evolved. A lot! Today’s music is so much different from what it was back in 90’s, 2000’s or even just a couple of years ago. People start to like new things, new sound is created, music evolves. However, there are a lot of bands / musicians that are really popping now, but some of them were famous before too. Let’s take a look at the most prominent bands and singers this year.
Guess what, they are still hot! And they have been since they started, really. But their sound has changed, just like we should expect, considering people will sooner or later get tired of listening to the same old tunes. Their songs sound modern and trendy, digital too, opposed to the 2000’s when they were just a typical band.
Needless to say, they still use classic instruments and aren’t just tied down to a digital world. I find that most of their songs now, are produced digitally, but they have no problem performing live – in fact, they recreate their digital songs using drums, pianos and guitars. A great source on this type of instruments is Indie Hq and you should definitely take a look at some of their articles.
It just seems to me like these guys can’t stop releasing HIT AFTER HIT! Don’t know how they come up with the ideas. The instrumentals are always crazy and the singers blends perfectly with it.
Their songs always hype me up and I’m a big fan of their latest track Natural.
They also took on that digital sound, but it’s still overwhelmed with their signature sound, which evolved from rock.
It’s hard not to be a fan of One Republic. Although I’m not the biggest fan of their latest songs, I admire their consistency and how they preserved their sound even in the age, where people just seem to want more bass and party songs.
And that’s a wrap. Of course, there are many more bands we could feature, but I tried to really focus on those that create their songs in the digital world, and perform them live by normal guitars, pianos and other instruments.
